History

The Village of North Hampton was platted in 1829. It was incorporated in 1925. The village makes up a total area of .43 square miles, of all its land. North Hampton is surrounded by countryside and farm fields as far as the eye can see. Many Holmes built in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. The village annexed 82 acres in 2001 that is now developed to house 180 single family lots and condo lots. Village population is just under 500. St. Rt. 41 is the main road through North Hampton with daily traffic count of 5040 cars.

In 2002 North Hampton annexed 84 acres that has now been platted and partially developed offering building lots for both single family homes and condo’s as part of a planned unit development.

North Hampton Veterans Memorial

The North Hampton Veterans Memorial Erected 1967 by Armstrong Helfrich Post 4358, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Ladies Auxiliary. It was built to honor the local men of V.F.W. Post 4358 & Post 11114. Click the picture for more information.
